Peter & Sally Aulson
A life changed by Jesus became a life committed to preaching the Gospel, making disciples, and serving the people of Clovis, New Mexico.
Peter and Sally Aulson are both originally from Massachusetts, but their paths eventually brought them to Prescott, Arizona in the 1970s. It was there that they each gave their lives to Jesus, met one another, and were married.
Where their stories began.
Peter and Sally were both originally from Massachusetts, though they would not meet until years later after life had taken them west.
They found Jesus — and each other.
While living in Prescott, Arizona, both Peter and Sally gave their lives to Jesus Christ. It was also in Prescott that they met, married, and became part of a church with a vision to reach people with the Gospel.
Sent to preach the Gospel.
In 1982, Peter and Sally were sent from their home church in Prescott to Clovis, New Mexico. They came with a simple purpose: preach Jesus Christ and see lives changed.
More than four decades later.
Their ministry in Clovis continues, centered on the same Gospel that changed their own lives and has since impacted generations of people through the preaching of God’s Word.
The mission has never changed.
Methods change. Generations change. Cities change. But the calling remains: preach Jesus, make disciples, and reach people with the Gospel.
Preach the Gospel
Clear, Bible-based preaching centered on Jesus Christ, repentance, salvation, and transformed lives.
Make Disciples
Christianity is more than attending a service. The goal is to see people grow in faith, obey God’s Word, and become followers of Jesus Christ.
Reach People
From Clovis to wherever God opens a door, the Church exists to carry the Gospel beyond its own walls.
A church centered on Jesus Christ.
If you’re new, you don’t need to know the history of the church before you walk through the door. What matters most is what Jesus Christ can do in your life today.
We’d love to meet you this Sunday.
You don’t have to know anyone, have everything figured out, or come from a church background. Come worship with us, hear the Gospel, and see what The Potter’s House is all about.
